Okay, now I'm blushing furiously! Dave and Michelle, maybe something like this is a good idea. In fact, I was just working with a colleague on something for publication, and it gave me the bug to say a little more. The budget of 4000 words we were given felt huge at first, but quickly became frustratingly small. Understand, though, that I'm not committing to anything... :-)

Lady Eve, You are a master scholar, technical whiz kid as well as rocker chick.

As a confirmed privacy geek rather than a player in the standards/ gizmo/ tools world, I will second the call for a book. Can I be the every other chapter? Your excellent description of the current state choices and what they mean is precisely the discussion we need to have in the policy and business management of data and business intelligence world.

Can I entice you to sharpen that pencil once again to think through a fantasy outline???

Eve, your slides are absolutely excellent!

They are far and away the best slides that I've ever seen that accomplish the purpose of educating instead of the purpose of selling. I reckon it's called summer school for a reason, nicht wahr?

Don't you dare move them because I'm going to link to them.
